The Nexturn SA(B) Swiss CNC Lathe Series offers a cost-efficient and highly productive solution for complex precision parts, utilizing a 7-axis design. This series includes three models, all featuring synchronous guide bushings, 7 machining axes, and up to 22 tools. These machines are capable of handling maximum bar diameters of 12mm, 20mm, and 32mm, with maximum turning lengths of 6.3” for the 12mm model and 8” for the 20mm and 32mm models.

The main spindles, equipped with built-in motors, provide power ranging from 3 to 10 HP and offer a maximum RPM capacity of 10,000. Sub-spindles deliver between 1.5 to 3 HP, also reaching up to 10,000 RPM. Both spindles feature full C-axis control with .001° positioning accuracy. Additionally, powerful live tools, operating at 1.3 HP and 6,000 RPM, enable complex milling operations.

The machine’s exceptional rigidity is achieved through the use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) technology in its one-piece bed casting design. Ease of use is prioritized, with ergonomically arranged controls and fully accessible covers and doors.

The SA(PII) is a mid-level machine designed for versatility, available with or without a rotary synchronous guide bushing. It features 7 axes (Z1, X1, Y, Z2, X2, C1, and C2) and can accommodate up to 23 tools. The machine offers bar capacities of 20mm, 26mm, 32mm, and 38mm, with a maximum turning length of 250mm (9.8”) in a single chucking. High-precision integral motor spindles on both the main and sub-spindles ensure exceptional accuracy and fast cycle times.

Engineered for rigidity, precision, and reliability, the SA(PII) is built on a highly rigid one-piece cast iron bed designed using FEM software. Its powerful motors for both turning and milling provide outstanding machining capabilities. The use of ultra-precision pre-tensioned ballscrews and linear motion guides ensures superior accuracy. High-speed positioning of up to 1,260 inches per minute further reduces cycle times. The machine is also designed for operator convenience, featuring a sliding door for easy, drip-free access to the machining area.

The Nexturn SA(PYII) Swiss CNC Lathe Series represents our top-tier machines, featuring an exchangeable guide bushing for enhanced flexibility. When the guide bushing is removed for short parts, remnant length is minimized, allowing a maximum turning length of 60mm and the use of non-ground bar stock. For longer parts using ground bar stock, the guide bushing enables a maximum turning length of up to 210mm. The PYII series offers 8 axes and includes four models with bar capacities ranging from 20mm to 38mm.

The SA(PYII) is equipped with 8 axes (Z1, X1, Y1, Z2, X2, Y2, C1, and C2) and can accommodate up to 27 tools. It supports bar capacities of 20mm, 26mm, 32mm, and 38mm. The machine’s high-precision integral motor spindles on both the main and sub-spindles ensure exceptional accuracy and fast cycle times.

Designed with a focus on rigidity, precision, and reliability, the SA(PYII) is built on a highly rigid one-piece cast iron bed, developed using FEM software. Its powerful motors for both turning and milling deliver exceptional machining capabilities. Ultra-precision pre-tensioned ballscrews and linear motion guides ensure high accuracy, while high-speed positioning of up to 1,260 inches per minute reduces cycle times. Additionally, the machine features a sliding operator door for easy, drip-free access to the machining area, enhancing ease of use.

The Nexturn SA(XII) Series of Swiss CNC lathes offers five models, available with or without rotary synchronous guide bushings. An optional continuous swiveling 135˚ B-axis enables variable angle machining, supporting up to 10 front and 8 back-side live tools. Machines with guide bushings are ideal for turning longer parts, while models without guide bushings excel in processing shorter parts and cold-drawn material.

These machines feature up to 8 axes and accommodate up to 29 tools, with an additional axis available with the B-axis, increasing the total to 9 axes. The main and sub-spindles offer maximum bar diameters ranging from 20mm to 51mm, depending on the model. Maximum turning lengths span from 118mm to 275mm.

Both the main and sub-spindles deliver up to 20 HP (15kW) at speeds of up to 8,000 RPM, with full C-axis capability. The synchronous sub-spindle allows for simultaneous front and back working. Live tools offer power ranging from 1.3 HP (1kW) to 3 HP (3.3kW) with speeds of up to 6,000 RPM, and rigid tapping comes standard.

Built for exceptional rigidity, the machine structure benefits from Finite Element Analysis (FEA) technology. The slant-bed design prioritizes operator convenience with ergonomically arranged controls and fully opening covers and doors, enhancing ease of use.

The Nexturn SA XIII Series of Swiss CNC lathes includes three models, available with or without rotary synchronous guide bushings. This series features an opposing gang tooling system, capable of holding up to 14 live tools, ensuring high productivity when machining complex parts. Machines with guide bushings excel in turning longer parts, while those without guide bushings are ideal for processing shorter parts and cold-drawn material.

The SA XIII series supports up to 11 axes and accommodates up to 29 tools. The main and sub-spindles offer maximum bar diameters ranging from 32mm to 45mm, depending on the model. Maximum turning lengths range from 120mm to 279mm.
